The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is the youth component of the community-based organization, the South Bay Youth Project (California). Members of the YAC are volunteer high school students that represent nearly every high school in the South Bay (California). The YAC has been serving the community since 1995 with the primary purpose to promote healthy lifestyles and drug-free activities. Here is a list of just a few of the activities the group is currently involved with:
